Using GMail and Linux for Spam Filtering

I also have noticed the small amount of spam that Google has dropped in my mailbox. They are doing a great job with it.

"One of the things that struck me most about GMail is the absence of spam. During my initial use, I could easily attribute that to the fact that it was a new account that hadn't been found by the spammers' address harvesters. Recently, though, it's become obvious that GMail's spam filtering pieces are superb. I am getting spammed, but GMail is catching the vast majority in its filters."
