Solaris Zones for Isolated Virtual OS Instances

Sun announced that they have added "Zone" capabilities to Solaris. You can retrieve the needed software via their Software Express program for free. Zones provide the ability to run an isolated and fully virtualized version of Solaris. This gives rise to some pretty interesting compartmentalization capabilities for security and non-security reasons. Check it out. Meshing this with network compartmentalization seems like an excellent security strategy.
