A Custom kernel for Debian
Linux Orbit tells us hot to
build a custom kernel for Debian.
"Why would you want to build a custom kernel ? You usually need to build a custom kernel to get support for hardware or options not included in the default kernel (ATX power-down springs to mind). Fortunately the Debian distribution provides tools to allow you to not only build a kernel with a lot fewer steps than other distributions, you will also end up with a custom kernel Debian package."
