 Migrating from BSD/OS to NetBSD

This article at BSDnewsletter.com compares BSD/OS and NetBSD by explaining what's installed, what's running, and sharing a few examples of basic configurations. Upcoming articles will discuss sharing filesystems, migrating passwords, users and services, and commercial update and support services.

Even though the BSD/OS and NetBSD operating systems have been mostly developed by different developers with some different goals over the past nine years, they share many similarities due to their near identical open source origins and the open source software that complements the systems.
