 Kristof Borrey

KDE interviews Kristof Borrey, author of the iKons icon theme.

"I think it was October 1999. My Windows box suffered a lot from crashes/viruses/etc. so I decided to look for an alternative. I thought Macintosh was the only alternative available, so I looked for a Macintosh dealer at Google. By mistake I typed Macintosch, and I didn't found anything. So I tried alternative operating system, and here it was: Linux. It was a Computer Associates website and I was able to get a copy of Red Hat Linux 6.2 for free. It even worked on my existing hardware, so I didn't have to buy new hardware. It looked too good to be true. Two days later, I received the Red Hat CD and from that day, I'm using Linux/KDE."
