KDE 4.0 the holy grail of Desktops ?

Often in the past there have been strong debates over the pros and cons of KDE over another popular desktop with even the Linus Torvalds pitching in to take sides. The critics of KDE call it a desktop exclusively meant for power users and point out the seemingly cluttered menu and options. This article explains why the recent inclusion of a slick file manager named Dolphin could be just the tip of the iceberg for what is in store in the upcoming KDE 4.0. If the developers replicate what they did with the file manager across all KDE applications, KDE 4.0 could well be a desktop which will find favor not only with the power users but the grandma kinds as well.
